Location: Sekikawamura, Iwafunegun, Niigata Pref.
朝日岳の登山口にあたる大石川ダムののほとりの公園に彫刻の依頼があった。「座る」と言うことをテーマにした、「天」「地」「人」「風」「水」と名付けた５つの環境彫刻は山にこれから登る人、下りてきた人々がこの上にゆったりと寝ころんで宇宙との関わりを実成することとなる。
The five sculptures each named 'Heaven', 'Earth', 'Man', 'Wind' and 'Water' are provided in a park by the Oishikawa dam, located in the entrance for the climbing route to Mt. Asahi. Those stone sculptures are for sitting to make climbers relax and feel the relation to the cosmos.
